About

Newcastle Poker Forum is operated by a father and son team and provide this website to be the ultimate resource for finding out about poker in Newcastle and communicating with other poker players.

Scott ‘s2c’ Collins is the main admin for the site and deals with most of the tasks such as site development, organising events and negotiating with online sites for deals for the members.

Dave ‘teamdobb’ Collins is the community manager and is the main face of the forum often dealing with face to face requests, pushing content on the forum and dealing with any public speaking arrangements.

We believe our team is the best out there with the combination of Scott’s computer and organisation skills and Dave’s experience of poker and knowing the exisiting community in Newcastle. We believe in running the site as open as possible, allowing people the freedom of speech and have little moderation. We are always open to suggestions and feedback and continue to grow this site on the back of the member’s contributions and commitment.

We had our problems with finding information about what was happening in the Newcastle cardrooms and needed a place for players to voice their opinion and we have provided a new way for poker players to communicate with Newcastle casinos.

Poker can be quite a dull game and some of the games lacked a social feel with players often not knowing each other. This is something that needed to be improved and have now provided a solution where the online community has created new real life friendships and you can now go into a casino expecting to see someone you know from online.
