February has been a very busy month for the forum and looks like it has attracted the most visitors according to the stats despite being a shorter month. The new blog style home page has been launched that will now bring you some great posts such as this round up post. It has been an idea that has supposed to happen since the start but has been put off for a long time and only just now has it got off the ground although still looking a little bare but over the next few months it will grow into a fantastic resource. The NPF UK Team Challenge has been announced, with a golf day included and the 2nd NPF Birthday party and awards is just around the corner.
This is the first of the ‘best of’ of posts that I plan to post at the end of each month basically rounding up what has been interesting on the forum and the site in general.

Post Milestones
The NPF milestones have become a bit of a tradition on the NPF where members write a post describing their experiences on the forum and what they have liked about contributing from the site etc, usually when they make 1000 or 5000 posts. They are usually a very interesting read. Each member who gets to 1000 posts updates their status/title/rank to NPF God to recognise their active contribution and at 5000 posts, members are allowed to choose their own status besides their name.
- Looseman’s 5000th post. In true Looseman style. His status now becomes ‘NPF Radgie Leader’
- Dreamdobb’s 1000th post. Probably one of the best milestone posts so far, a video that tells 10,000 words.
- Varzee’s 1000th post. One of the top blokes who works for Grosvenor Casino.
- Full Tilit’s 1000th post. One of the most constructive posters on the forum. Also check his excellent poker blog for more great stuff.
NPF News
The NPF Video news is another great place where you can catch a round up of the news of the forum and Newcastle Poker scene hosted by Steve ‘the card guard kid’ Wills. This month there has only been 2 news because of some other things we have been busy with in the past 2 weeks.
I hope you enjoyed this post and is useful for you. If you think I have missed anything and want it mentioned, contact me or send me a PM on the forum. Don’t forget to keep spreading the word about Newcastle Poker Forum as there are still hundreds of poker players in Newcastle that do not know about this site. You can become a fan on facebook so your friends will see it on your wall and maybe join too!
