Hi Im thinkin bout makin my pub poker debut at the bridle path in wickham tomorrow!

First of all i wanna make sure theres definately a GAME on and wether its alreet craic?

Those who know me already know im no stranger to poker but im at a loose end tomorrow n cant be arsed to venture to circus or aspers n a little game ov cards cud be the perfect recipe!

Any info about tomorrows game wud be appreiciated and any1 who knows me and is attending wud be sweet cos ill know zero peeps in the path.

yip def on m8, generally about 30 odd runners v gd crack, some v gd players and as ud expect some not! buffet on for the fat bastads and the drinks will be flowing. normally play for for fivers but this is not a must as its a points bassed league game so you can play for free if u a tight arse. unfortunatly i will not be there as iv goota gan back down the road for another two weeks ov solid nightshifts, oh the joys, if u use the search function up top u may find more info on this gig, best of lk m8 if u do gan and watch oot for the resident shark, WILLIE hymers, fat mackem, cant miss him !!!! :D

As far as Willie hymers is concerned, I know willie well. In fact he was the one who told me about this game. Hes a decent bloke and will enjoy taking his chips n having a pint n a laugh with him about it afta!

av been trying to get the fat bastd singed up to this site for a while now as most the regular casino goers will know him but seen as he doesnt have a computer yet that might be a bit ov a problem, doubt u know me m8, use to go to grov reguarly bout 2 / 3 years ago but aint been for ages, i live upstairs to bridle, me mops runs the gaff, hense the biassed post's hehe.

league only 3/4 weeks in so if u f.t a couple ov times u will be right up there m8

Did willie tell u he took down the reginal finals lst month in Manchester but was playing under a lads name who couldnt make it, he ended up getting grassed up and was stripped ov his trophey and his cheque ov £500 was canceled, everyone was gutted for the kid cos he deserved his win !!

Ok, my pub poker debut is done and dusted.

Enjoyed the game without success! lol. I didnt even make the final table!

I lost a few chips through a hand half way thru the tourny. I have :As::Ks: UTG so i raise 4 and a half times the big blind (been a loose table lol) i get 1 caller (the shortstack whos call wud b 1/3 of his stack). Flop :Ts::2h::6c: I push expecting to take it down. He calls with :Tc::8d: I dont improve n he doubles up. "NH" i mutter but wondering y he was involved in the first place.

Shortly after we go to 2 tables and first hand i get :Jc::Jd:on the button. So im not prepared to mess about and dont have much fold equity for a decent raise so i push only to be insta-called by the BB. Yea he had :Ad::Ah: NH.


Good atmosphere well run and decent structure all in all i can see myself becoming a regular at this game without sacrificing my current games.

REAL BONUS I BROUGHT MY BROTHER IN-LAW

I brought my brother in-law along for his live casino debut. never played casino and whos experience stretches from a cpl of home games in a m8s gaff in dunston.

He was on fire eliminating sum1 within 10 mins with his :Ah::Ac: He then seem to win pot after pot after pot with more chips than his friggin chip holder.

Yes he was the one that took me out with my jacks but hey might as well keep it in the family.

He actually went on to win it !!! well done mark.

But be sure im gonna make it my mission to outshine u next wk.

well off to the Bridlepath again for round two of PUBPOKER!

Determined to prove my worth after crashing out early in the early stages of the pokerstars NPF game last night n also not cashing in my PubPoker Debut. It it wasnt for Cashtbl sucess over the last few days i might ov had to consult phil mc on advice lol.

Im going with my brother-in-law again who won the bloody game last week. As long as i outshine him ill b happy. (laughing in stock of the family at mo as his braggin rights has sent me to hibernation!)

Ill repost tomorrow with results n hopefully a little smiley face to go with it!

Be nice to see a few more familiar faces down there like, obviously just a game for the craic but decent craic nevertheless!

I gotta giv him a few pointers (how to get sum1 to call ya all in with K-7)

But no one incident occured when i blatenley caught some young lad taking chips outta tha pot when he shudnt n wudnt admit it!

The situation:

:confused:He was in the big blind, blinds 200-400. (I passed my 6-2, my routine for the night). Sum1 UTG made it 800 followed by a button raise to 2000. Before we carry on this lad was a talker! He slowed the game down massively.

:confused:Everytime the action was on him he insisted on given a speech before deciding on wot to do. Most ov the time passing. He even at one stage claimed he knew wot everyone was holding going around each person! When he said wot i passed i told him "wow thats amazing u got it spot pal ur too good to be playing here, u pro?" obviously i doubt he got anything right. (How u can put sum1 can put sum1 else on a hand when theres zero action n just a pass pre-flop is beyond me. mystic meg? who knows?)

:confused: Anyway (side-tracked) after the bet n raise and his blabbering speach he passed his card takin his BB back onto his stack. Im not saying this lad done it on purpose cos its an easy thing to do. I explained wot i saw only for him to say "No i didnt I wudnt do that!" i explained it cud ov been a mistake but i know wot i saw! I even displayed the chips and how there was 400 missing but i was becoming some cock trying to complicate things. he even had the person next to him defending him! "Geez cant be arsed with this shit" i thought n let the game carry on n never spoke again!

hazzy on the exact details but we seem to have a few pub managers/players/staff promoting their venues for the pub poker games. we should have some sort of pub team event! could be like a league or sumin or just a big one off, u can see what im getting at i hope, just an idea in its very early stages, maybees sumin to give a bit 4t to and open to suggestions,
