Football Tourney Confirmed

Evening All, i have just today completed the booking for the 1st (lets hope if its a success) Annual NPF Footy Day.
The Date is the 27th Feb, and start time is 11am
The venue is North Shield SoccerDome, and price for each team is £50, with teams consisting of 6-7 players, this aint to bad a price, i was aiming for £5 per player, but included in this price is;

• Inclusive hire of floodlit all weather 5 a-side pitches

• Each team will receive a minimum of 3 games, totaling 45 minutes of football

• All matches officiated by fully qualified FA Referees

• One engraved Tournament Cup for the Winning Team, plus 7 individual winners and 7 runners-up trophies

• Balls & Bibs provided

• All Match Fixtures compiled, drawn & Professionally managed by Powerleague staff

• Full use of Powerleague site, hospitality facilities including bar and lounge areas, & announcements using PA System

• All Pre and on the Day Event Management including an Event Manager present on the day

(Buffet also i believe, trying to sort it anyway)

Based on all of the above elements and up to 8 players per team Powerleague’s fee for this event would be: £60.00 +VAT per team.


Due to the nature of the charity event, Powerleague would be willing to discount this 15%

As you can see, this is down as a charity event, and is correct. This seems a perfect opportunity to me to raise funds for the hospice that cared after Skipper Walkers Mother, as previously stated, they do such a great job, with very little funding, so i think its right that we try and chip in. I will try to organize a raffle or auction or something to raise money, and as this will be a first for me, any help is welcomed and items donated will be a huge help. I will be contacting sporting clubs asap in trying to obtain items for purchase, but as previously stated, any help you can offer is much appriciated.

Now, next step, Team Captains, please make a thread and org your team, including kits and travel, there has been some people that have stated an interest in playing, but not asigned to a team yet, so any drop outs please let yourself be known very quickly. Also all that have shown a desire to play, please do play, as mass drop outs will ruin what should be a cracking day, Cheers
