NPF Golf Team Challenge 2010

by s2c on 24 February, 2010

This event has now been cancelled.

As we announced in our last post we will be organising a golf team challange as an addition to our UK team challenge.

Format

Teams of 4 will be competing in the NPF Golf Team Challenge to be held at Newcastle United Golf Club on 30 April 2010. The event is limited to 20 teams.

4BBB with the top 2 scores from each hole counting towards the final score.

The cost is £100 per team which includes your green fees, sandwich, tea/coffee and prizes for the winners. This is to be payable on the day.

Tee times are available from 12 noon to 2.30pm

This event is open to everyone. Teams can be made up of the poker teams that have entered the poker team challenge and teams are allowed to enter more than 1 team.

If you are unable to fill a team, we will try and organise it so spare players can fill teams. Individual players that wish to play should also register their interest so we can form teams from these players.

There will be a presentation during the interval on the Saturday of the poker challenge.

The Course

The event is to be held at Newcastle United Golf Club which is just 5 minutes from the city centre right next to the town moor. The address of the club is 60 Ponteland Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 3JW. You can find more information about the course, the dress code and how to get there on their website at www.newcastleunitedgolfclub.co.uk

There are 5 buggies available and will be reserved on a first come first served basis. In order to be fair, buggies will be limited to 1 per team.
