NPF UK Team Challenge 2010

by s2c on 21 February, 2010

Newcastle Poker Forum would like to announce the details of our UK Team Challenge this year following on from the tremendous success of last year. The event will be held at the Grosvenor Casino Newcastle on the weekend of 1-2 May 2010.

The NPF UK Forum Challenge is a fun weekend to bring poker teams from throughout the UK a chance to meet up with their fellow team players and to fight out for the title of the best team in the UK. The tournament has been structured with a slow clock that is compared other festival events so the strongest players will really shine through.

Aside from the excellent structure, the emphasis on this event is having a good time with your team mates as a lot of teams are national forums and may not have met up with each other before. Newcastle Poker Forum have 6 teams entered into this event and we would like to show you how much team spirit there is up here which is the main reason why we organised this event. You will be guaranteed a good time.

With the success of last year, we have invited all the teams that participated last year as first option and all teams have entered a team so this event was sold out within 2 weeks.

We are currently working on providing a comprehensive guide to the best hotels close to the casinos.

No points are available for this event and will be open to anyone. Registration open when the casino opens on Sunday.

Would like to play this event?

Hi there

I’d be very interested in putting a team in to this event if any of the other teams drop out / can’t get a team together.

We played the PPP Team Event at Star City recently and had such a great time (probably played against a lot of your guys lol) that we’d definitely like to play this kind of format again.

So, if there are any vacancies please let me know.

Thanks :-)
Matt
